The MPC-60 is well known
for its upfront sound. Its 12 bit sample rate
gives it a pleasant, slightly distorted quality.
This set of 30 samples includes some really nice
cymbals and in your face kicks and snares.

Another early digital
drum machine, similar in quality to the Drumtrax.
This set of samples are more effected than the
Drumtrax, with lots of gated kicks and snares.

Some retakes on the much
used 909 sound, these samples are more in-your-face
and dance oriented.

|
|
|
Comprising some more
processed, modern 808 sounds, these samples are
again more modern electronic and dance oriented.

Built in 1987, the Roland
R5 sounds are naturalistic, since it was trying
to emulate a real drummer. These sounds are clean
cut and quite straight compared to most of the
others in the library.

One of the first digital
drum machines, this box comes with some classic
samples from the same stable as the SP-12. Program
a break and get old school hip-hop nostalgia.

Quite a funky kit's worth
of samples from one of Korgs first drum machines.

Rolands Mc 303 came with
some great drum sounds. This kit is of their jungle
influenced drum samples, often very upfront, processed
and aggressive.
